I was a game designer on the PS4 game Detroit : Become Human, by Quantic Dream
I was in charge of « translating » the game scenario into playable scenes, creating and managing internal game design documents, overviewing the game building process.
I also helped shape certain game mechanics, mostly pertaining to the detective investigation and some infiltration mechanics.
I got to overview the design and development of the navigation algorithm in close relationship with the programming team, and worked a lot on how to make the scenes come alive with the NPC design and integration team.
Lucky for me, I also got to work on the Motion Capture shootings, overviewing preparations for the filming and during said filming, making sure shooting went according to gameplay and scenario requirements.
